South Wigston Association of Traders

Very simply – we’re an organisation run by the traders for the benefit of both the traders and shoppers in South Wigston.

Whether it’s representing the trader’s interests in local issues, organising promotional activity or simply meeting to discuss ideas the South Wigston Association of Traders (SWAT) wants to be actively and proactively involved.

Current membership (38 shops and counting) is free  – so if you’re not already a member – why not?

Current chair is Rob Elliott (Heating and Bathroom Studio / Cosifit Blinds) and is happy to meet and talk with you about SWAT.

SWAT currently:-

• Have own meetings to raise and discuss local trading issues
• Run the South Wigston Loyalty card.

We’ve been responsible for events such as Christmas Capers and are now looking at the best ways to represent the local traders on local issues affecting us all.
